We named this blog after the two states we mainly lived in, Hawaii where Casey lived for 10 years, where Benil grew up at and where Elliana was born. Texas our current home state, and where our second child, Levi was born. This will follow slight glimpse of our daily life, our hobbies and obsessions and highlight aspects of Elliana and Levi's life as they grows We hope for this to serve as an electronic journal when our kids are older.

Official Hawaii Road conditions
Well America, Im not crazy. On the news today there was a story about Hawaii's road conditions, and how horrible they are compared with the rest of the U.S. IT states: 27% of all roads are deemed to be in poor condition and cause a manit. cost of $503 a year to every driver in the state. Honolulu drivers pay an average of $514 a year in lost time and fuel...AKA standing in traffic. From 1996 to 2002 $150 million has been transfered from the state hawaii fund to the General fund to pay for the State's budget and so we have been losing out on precious road management. To fix this they want to raise the per gallon of gas tax to 10 cents, it has already been raised 17 cents. Traffic congestion in one spot of H-1 is considered on of the worst bottle necks in the entire nation. The roads here are HORRIBLE. Check out the photo of my bent wheel for some proof.
